The information contained on our website (www.cheltenham-doors.co.uk) is for general guidance only. The Company makes every effort to ensure that the information on this website is accurate, but it should not be taken to be comprehensive.

The Company reserves the right to change or update any website content, prices or products at any time without prior notice.

Imagery used on the website is for illustrative purposes only. The colour and appearance of actual products may differ from those items shown on this website. All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Full detailed specifications are available from the Company upon request.

We are under no obligation to provide the product to you at an incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a final quote.

Our Sales Process

The sections below describe the steps in our sales process from initial enquiry through to fitting and payment. For each step we describe the relevant Terms and Conditions:

Initial Enquiries

Initial enquiries can be made either:

  1. By entering your basic requirements in the Door Configurator tool on our website. This will result in us contacting you to give a rough quote. A free survey will be required for us to give you a final quote (as this will allow us to take accurate measurements and assess the location of the required door fitting). In general, the values of the rough and final quotes will be very similar or the same.
  2. By requesting a free survey via the 'Contact Us' link on our website. We will contact you to arrange a free survey leading to a final quote.
  3. By requesting a free survey by telephoning us on 01242 374100.

We carry out all surveys free of charge and we will provide you with a no obligations quote once it is complete. All quotes are valid for 14 days from date of creation.


Once a quote is accepted you will need to pay a deposit before manufacture of the door is commenced. The deposit will be calculated as:

(full supply and fit price LESS any agreed sales discount) x 25%

We will need to confirm receipt of this deposit before we can agree a fitting date and commence the manufacturing process. Manufacture will usually require 7 to 14 days but this cannot be guaranteed as it may vary due to exceptional circumstances.

Deposits can be paid via online payment (all major debit and credit cards), bank transfer or cheque.

Deposits are non-refundable.


We will supply and fit your door(s) on the agreed fitting date. In the vast majority of cases we will stick to this date and will only change it due to exceptional circumstances. We cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred by the customer due to any such date changes.

Payment of Outstanding Amounts Owed

Any remaining amounts owed (after payment of the initial deposit) are payable immediately upon completion of the fitting process.

Payment of the outstanding amount can be made via online payment (all major debit and credit cards), bank transfer or cheque.

Changing Your Order

Orders can only be changed up to the point at which manufacture commences. If you require to make a change then please call us immediately on 01242 374100 to check if this is still possible. If the change is still possible, we will issue you with a new quote which you will need to accept. If the change results in an increase in the quote value then an additional deposit will be payable so that the 25% deposit calculation is maintained. We will agree a fitting date and commence the manufacture of the new order once we have confirmed receipt of the additional deposit.


The Company reserves the right to cancel any order without prior notice. We will write and tell you about any cancellation within 10 days of the cancellation.

If we cancel the contract, we will refund the amount in full and any other payments you have made under the contract but we will have no further liability to you.

Cancellation requests from customers are only accepted in writing to the correspondence address listed on the website. Deposits are non-refundable but the remainder of the quote will no longer be due once we have accepted the cancellation request.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. In such circumstances we will credit you with any amounts that you have paid to date.

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money you have already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.


We provide a comprehensive guarantee of the products for the time periods listed below. Should a fault occur we will replace the faulty part free of charge. We will do our best to match any previous items supplied, but due to availability of materials this may not be possible.

We cannot be held responsible for normal 'Wear and Tear' or accidental damage, misuse or failure by the customer to comply with routine maintenance.

Our guarantees do not cover items that have been cleaned with bleach or abrasive cleaners.

Guarantee time periods:

  • Profiles, sealed glass units and gaskets – 10 years
  • Door strength and shape retention – 10 years
  • Colour stability within acceptable tolerance (for all colours except white, darwood and oak) – 10 years
  • Colour stability within acceptable tolerance for white, darwood and oak finishes – 5 years
  • Structural strength of hardware including hinges, lock sets and handles – 5 years
  • Finish on handles and letterboxes – 1 year

Planning permission

It is your responsibility to find out if you need planning permission or building regulations approval for the goods. We will not be liable for any costs, expenses, loss, or claims for compensation or any other liability arising directly or indirectly as a result of you not getting planning permission or building regulations approval.
